GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS:
.) The morning bell rings at 7:50am. Please do not be late. Adhering to a morning routine is an important aspect in preparing for our day. Any student who arrives after the 8:00 bell is considered late. Every 5 latenesses will result in a detention.
.) The school day ends at 2:50pm. Unless you have sent in a note or notified the office that you need to pick up your student early, please remain outside until after dismissal. In addition, if your child is taking a different mode of transportation home than usual, a note MUST be sent in.
.) Please make sure all workbooks are covered in clear contact paper. English and Reading textbooks will remain in class and thus, do not need to be covered.
.) Please do not send in any electronics with your child. Should they need to have a cell phone on them, it should remain off and in our cell phone box in the classroom. These will be kept safe in my locked closet until dismissal time.
.) Tests will no longer be sent home for parent signatures. All test and quiz scores will be solely located on MSP. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A CHANGE IN POLICY FROM LAST YEAR. THIS IS FOR THE ANNEX ONLY.
.) Please sign your student's homework book every night. Doing so will make you aware of any important homework, due dates, or upcoming school events.
.) Please place all notes, important paperwork, and absence notes in your child's folder and have them give to me immediately in the morning.
.) Proper uniforms must be worn at all times. Inappropriate uniform code violations will result in a demerit. If a parent note is sent in, the student has ONE day to correct the violation before a demerit will be issued.
.) Should you need to schedule a conference, please email me or send in a note with possible dates and times that would work for you. I will get back to you as soon as I can!
